We’re excited for the summer! Our mission is to multiply disciples of Jesus among students in Southwest Iowa. And a big part of multiplying disciples is building relationships, connecting as friends, and building shared experiences with Jesus right in the middle of it all! So here’s what planned for the summer…
Saturday, June 3, 10AM-2PM @ the church building: First Annual OLOP Tournament!
It’s a fun event where students and parents and volunteers put together teams of 7 or more (7 players are on the field at a time), and then we have fun competing against each other. What is OLOP? It’s our smash up of field hockey, polo, soccer, and probably a few more sports. It’s great for anyone! Plus, well have burgers on the grill and water to refresh us. Sign up to join an existing team; or build you own team. Either way, be sure to RSVP soon!
Monday-Thursday, June 5-8, 6:00-7:30PM @ the church building: Vacation Bible School
VBS is just for younger children, but if a student wants to volunteer, we’d love that! No pressure, but we wanted to let parents and students know that it is an option. You can get more info and sign up to volunteer here.

It’s a night for students and leaders to share a meal, hang out for a while, and pray some, too. Some food, some fun, and some Jesus. We love it!
Wednesday, July 12, 6-8PM @ the church building: Dinner, hang, and connect with the Paraguay team
We get to send some juniors and seniors in high school, along with some leaders, to Paraguay this summer for a trip. While they’re there, we’ll gather here to eat together, hang out, and then connect with the Paraguay team via video and prayer! Join us to see the team and pray with them in real time!
Wednesday, July 26 @ 1-5PM, starting at the church building and return there, too: Mahoney State Water Park Day
We will all meet in our church parking lot @ 1PM, load up, and carpool out to Mahoney State Park for an afternoon in the water. We’ll be back to the church parking lot @ 5PM for parents to pick up students. Cost is $10. And we ask students to wear modest swimsuits. No 2-piece suits, please. We’re bringing the bright colored powder back. More games, more friendly wars, and more laughs. Wear some clothes you don’t mind throwing away, and let’s have a blast!
